Easy Air is one of our most used essential oils in our household and not just for it’s fresh minty smell, but for it’s physical support benefits for our respiratory systems. Continue reading Easy Air Diffuser Blends
I love nature. Appreciating the wonders of our Earth. To me there is nothing better than going for a bush walk smelling nature. Fresh crisp vs woody and earthy smells.
Wood essential oils invokes memories of many bush walks I’ve done, and soothes my soul.

I was so excited when dōTERRA released citronella essential oil, as it’s only previously been featured in their outdoor / insect repelling blend called TerraArmour (aka Terra Shield).
The repellent outdoor blend. Says it all, doesn’t it?
I remember when I first starting using dōTERRA essential oils many years ago and buying a bottle of TerraArmour to use in summer. You see, I had been searching for something natural and effective ever since our oldest daughter Isabella was a toddler, so I was keen to give it a go. Glenn and I watched a YouTube clip on how to use it, and couldn’t wait for my order to arrive.
With so many emotional and physical benefits of course I love to add black spruce to my diffusers around the home.
It’s been a fabulous variation to the usual respiratory blends that I use. Particularly, over the past month with the smoky air. But, it’s also great to diffuse after a particularly smelly meal. Or, when you discover uneaten food in school bags! Or, with some baking soda in smelly sports shoes!
This is a great recipe once your ready to branch out from ‘starter’ oils. Litsea is one of those oils that I believe everyone should have in their essential oil collection. I call it my icy pole oil x sherbert oil, as it has this delicious sweet citrus scent. Hence, this diffuser blend name of Sweetness.
I can’t get enough of it, and especially at the moment to help evoke feelings of summer.
Have you every experimented with Grapefruit Diffuser Blends? I love using grapefruit as an alternative citrus to wild orange and lemon essential oils.
It’s divine! Try one of our Grapefruit Diffuser Blends that I have created.
I love the fresh citrus tart scent you get when you diffuse it. It’s so fresh and uplifting. Try playing around with your essential oils to create your own diffuser blends or using my creations.
I have this saying, “everything smells better with Douglas Fir”. Some of wholesale customers agree, and some don’t. But, I honestly can’t get enough of the uplifting smell of douglas fir.
Do you have an oil like that too? That you can’t get enough of, and that you like blending with lots of other oils?
You know from my last post that I didn’t like Turmeric at first.
Have you ever felt that way about an essential oil? It may be that you just don’t like it, or it might be that you also have an emotional connection to it too.
After experimenting with using turmeric as a spicy base note in pure-fumes, I decided I will experiment with diffusing it.
