Linen Starch Spray
Christmas is fast approaching, and the linen season is upon us!
I personally love linen, but hate ironing it. From table clothes, aprons, quilt covers, pillow cases, shirts and pants – by the time you get to the other side of the item your ironing it’s creased again, and I doubly hate buying a toxic spray to use.
So, here is a low-tox alternative that I have been using for years and love.
Your clothes and household linens will also smell amazingly fresh. I usually iron all of the linen we need/want in one go.
Please note, you do need to use hot water, so be careful not to burn yourself in the process. I actually use a funnel to easily get the arrowroot starch (I don’t personally have cornstarch in the house in case it’s corn derived, as I react to it) and hot water into the bottle. I secure the spray top, wrap it in a tea towel then give it a shake and start spraying.
