Last summer we tried this neat hack of using dōTERRA’s Detoxifying Mud Mask to soothe mozzie bites.
I love that the women (and men) in my Essential Olie Tree experiment with their essential oils, and provide new ways to use them. Everyday I learn more about essential oils! So, this recipe isn’t one of my original recipes.
My lovely cousin, Rebecca Heywood at Do B U, shared this recipe with myself and the members of our closed Facebook group (exclusive to dōTERRA members in the Essential Olie Tree). With her permission, I’m sharing it with you all.
I saw Dr Hill at the 2017 Australian Convention in the Gold Coast. Let me say, he was amazing! He gave so many great tips and protocols on using the world’s most authentic pure essential oils.
I really loved his eye health tip of using a dilution of dōTERRA’s Salubelle (aka Immortelle) everyday around the eyes for eye health. It will also support the appearance of younger looking skin.
My youngest daughter is at that age where she needs to look after her skin, however, as she is still only young it needs to be simple.
We have had lots of success with reducing and clearing breakouts with our oldest daughter, and even with myself, with dōTERRA’s HD Clear.
This is a great recipe once your ready to branch out from ‘starter’ oils. Litsea is one of those oils that I believe everyone should have in their essential oil collection. I call it my icy pole oil x sherbert oil, as it has this delicious sweet citrus scent. Hence, this diffuser blend name of Sweetness.
I can’t get enough of it, and especially at the moment to help evoke feelings of summer.
Well, as promised, here is my signature rollerball pure-fume I have made for a handful of my wholesale customers.
You see when each of my wholesale customers attend a workshop, not only to do we have fun, but they also receive a special thank you gift from me. This pure-fume blend is an example of one of those thank you gifts.
Have you every experimented with Grapefruit Diffuser Blends? I love using grapefruit as an alternative citrus to wild orange and lemon essential oils.
It’s divine! Try one of our Grapefruit Diffuser Blends that I have created.
I love the fresh citrus tart scent you get when you diffuse it. It’s so fresh and uplifting. Try playing around with your essential oils to create your own diffuser blends or using my creations.
I have this saying, “everything smells better with Douglas Fir”. Some of wholesale customers agree, and some don’t. But, I honestly can’t get enough of the uplifting smell of douglas fir.
Do you have an oil like that too? That you can’t get enough of, and that you like blending with lots of other oils?
Were you lucky enough to get a bottle or 2 of Citrus Bloom?
I managed to get 1, but wished I brought at least 1 more bottle, as I can’t get enough of it. I used alot of the bottle making a signature ‘pure-fume’ blend for a selection of my Essential Olie Tree Wholesale Customers.
They all loved it.
You know from my last post that I didn’t like Turmeric at first.
Have you ever felt that way about an essential oil? It may be that you just don’t like it, or it might be that you also have an emotional connection to it too.
After experimenting with using turmeric as a spicy base note in pure-fumes, I decided I will experiment with diffusing it.
