It’s almost the end of another year. Are you thinking of taking your self care and lox tox life to the next level in 2020?
Why not start with your skin care? You simply can buy a carrier oil or a combination of carrier oils and add your essential oils for your skin needs.
Like essential oils, there are many different types of carrier oils to use. They each have their own benefits for our skin. When we combine carrier oils with essential oils we end up with something magical that fully supports our bodies.

I haven’t shared too many of my homemade cordial recipes yet. I started to make Pineapple Cordial as we got a few pineapples in our box divvy that were either dry or very ripe. It’s a great way to even use up pineapple that has been cut up and not eaten.
I love making cordials in summer! We are having such a warm spring that I’ve started to make fruit cordials earlier this year.

I actually love using dōTERRA’s proprietary blend called InTune. It was created to support our bodies during times when we are required to be focused. However, as it comes in a rollerball of pure essential oils, we found it just too strong for our kids. Do you have the same issue? If so, try our study time blend. Simply dilute the intune rollerball with your favourite carrier oil into multiple rollerball bottles. Add some lemon essential oil to assist to tone it down to your preferred aroma.
This is our youngest daughter’s favourite blend to wear to school, and when sitting down in the evening to complete her allocated homework.

Brazilian Cheese Puffs were one of the first things the lovely Mel from ThermoHead showed me how to make. Head over to Facebook and give Mel a like and follow but if instagram is more your thing, you will find her at Thermoheadmel.
Once Mel left me to my own device, and I started to use my thermomix on my own, I found that I couldn’t recreate the recipe. They were either raw or would stick to the pan, so I started tweaking the recipe til I came up with my own version.

I don’t like buying commercially brought cordial for my kids. However, I still treat them to cordial that I make. It’s still loaded with sugar, but it’s a controlled amount of sugar. It also does not contain anything artificial added like colours or flavours.

Here is my version of wipes.
You can adjust the quantity of essential oils for little tushies and use different oils depending on what you want to use them for. For little tushies, you might like to consider using lavender. For cleaning, then consider using OnGuard or Lemon or Tea Tree or even Oregano or a combination of essential oils.
