This is a great recipe once your ready to branch out from ‘starter’ oils. Litsea is one of those oils that I believe everyone should have in their essential oil collection. I call it my icy pole oil x sherbert oil, as it has this delicious sweet citrus scent. Hence, this diffuser blend name of Sweetness.
I can’t get enough of it, and especially at the moment to help evoke feelings of summer.

Have you every experimented with Grapefruit Diffuser Blends? I love using grapefruit as an alternative citrus to wild orange and lemon essential oils.
It’s divine! Try one of our Grapefruit Diffuser Blends that I have created.
I love the fresh citrus tart scent you get when you diffuse it. It’s so fresh and uplifting. Try playing around with your essential oils to create your own diffuser blends or using my creations.

I have this saying, “everything smells better with Douglas Fir”. Some of wholesale customers agree, and some don’t. But, I honestly can’t get enough of the uplifting smell of douglas fir.
Do you have an oil like that too? That you can’t get enough of, and that you like blending with lots of other oils?

I’ve been making this extra citrus version for a while now, but really love to make my recipes quite a few times before I officially share and release them.
You will see from the different flavours of crinkle cookies that I love making them. Mainly because they taste amazing and because they are gluten, dairy and corn free. They are also quick and easy to make up if your having last minute guests, or people pop in. I call them my slap happy macarons.

I have been making this fruit loaf for many years. I created it as an alternative to gluten free bread to have for breakfast, lunch or just as a sweet snack/treat.
It’s easy to adapt to make it taste slightly different each time as it depends on what dried fruit I have in my pantry or what I can get at the supermarkets. I mainly use cranberries, but sometimes when I see a dried mixed berry blend called ‘anti-oxidant blend’ I put that in it. I usually don’t make a special trip to the supermarket, so if I’ve only got currants or sultanas I use them in place of the cranberries.

I actually love using dōTERRA’s proprietary blend called InTune. It was created to support our bodies during times when we are required to be focused. However, as it comes in a rollerball of pure essential oils, we found it just too strong for our kids, so we started to dilute the rollerball into other rollerballs bottles and added some lemon essential oil to tone it down to their preferred aroma.
This is our youngest daughter’s favourite blend to wear to school, and when sitting down in the evening to complete her allocated homework.

Both spearmint and citrus oils have energising and uplifting properties. Spearmint also promotes our sense of focus, so this is a great blend to diffuse in the morning to get everyone up and going ready for school and work.

Not sure about you, but I really get paranoid over head lice, so I created this prevention spray. I have been using this recipe since I created it in January 2015, and touch wood, we haven’t had any incidents at home where my kids have come home with head lice from school.

Can you believe it’s 2019! Another year, another list of resolutions.
Do you do a list of resolutions for the new year? I don’t. I never stick to them anyway.

I hate it when I get a new dress and it clings like no tomorrow.
