I haven’t shared too many of my homemade cordial recipes yet. I started to make Pineapple Cordial as we got a few pineapples in our box divvy that were either dry or very ripe. It’s a great way to even use up pineapple that has been cut up and not eaten.
I love making cordials in summer! We are having such a warm spring that I’ve started to make fruit cordials earlier this year.

Did you know that both Rosemary and Peppermint are related in the mint family?

I actually love using dōTERRA’s proprietary blend called InTune. It was created to support our bodies during times when we are required to be focused. However, as it comes in a rollerball of pure essential oils, we found it just too strong for our kids, so we started to dilute the rollerball into other rollerballs bottles and added some lemon essential oil to tone it down to their preferred aroma.
This is our youngest daughter’s favourite blend to wear to school, and when sitting down in the evening to complete her allocated homework.

Both spearmint and citrus oils have energising and uplifting properties. Spearmint also promotes our sense of focus, so this is a great blend to diffuse in the morning to get everyone up and going ready for school and work.

Brazilian Cheese Puffs were one of the first things the lovely Mel from ThermoHead showed me how to make. Head over to Facebook and give Mel a like and follow but if instagram is more your thing, you will find her at Thermoheadmel.
Once Mel left me to my own device, and I started to use my thermomix on my own, I found that I couldn’t recreate the recipe. They were either raw or would stick to the pan, so I started tweaking the recipe til I came up with my own version.

Not sure about you, but I really get paranoid over head lice, so I created this prevention spray. I have been using this recipe since I created it in January 2015, and touch wood, we haven’t had any incidents at home where my kids have come home with head lice from school.

I don’t like buying commercially brought cordial for my kids. However, I still treat them to cordial that I make. It’s still loaded with sugar, but it’s a controlled amount of sugar. It also does not contain anything artificial added like colours or flavours.

Even when there is darkness, there is hope for light.
This statement is so deep, and almost brings tears to my eyes to sit and really think about that it for a moment, because no matter how dark times can get or we can get, there is hope. We have all experienced periods of that or have been touched by it by someone we know.

Copaiba has a warm, spicy earthy smell and similarly to frankincense, it’s a go to essential oil if I am unsure about what essential oil to use.
